Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Pro Labor Logistics collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Pro Labor platform (web app, notifications, and related services).

Information we collect

• Account info: name, email, phone number, and password (hashed).
• Role info: for drivers, DOT/MC identifiers you choose to add. For laborers, city/state, service radius, availability, and optional background-check status.
• Load info: pickup and dropoff addresses, dates, weight, cubic feet, packing/unpacking flags, and other job details you enter.
• Payment info: subscription and payment records are processed by Stripe. Pro Labor does not store full card numbers.
• Reviews: ratings and 150-character comments you post about a counterparty.
• Support messages: anything you send via the contact form or AI support chat.
• Automatic data: IP address, browser type, device info, and usage events, used for security and product improvement.

How we use information

• Run the marketplace — matching drivers to laborers, showing loads, delivering notifications.
• Process subscriptions and job payments through Stripe.
• Screen reviews for hate speech and harassment.
• Apply the automatic flagging rule (3 or more reviews at 2 stars or lower).
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and Terms violations.

Who we share information with

• Stripe — subscriptions and Connect payouts.
• Background-check provider — only if a laborer initiates a background check.
• Cloud infrastructure and email providers — used to host the app and deliver notifications.
• AI moderation and support — Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway, used only for review moderation and support chat.
• Law enforcement — when required by valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information. Drivers see only anonymized load-side info about laborers until they accept the application. Full contact details are only shared with the assigned counterparty.

Data retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion from Account Settings; see below.

Your rights

• Access, correct, or export your account data from Account Settings.
• Delete your account. Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g., payment records).
• Manage notification preferences (text/email) from the Laborer dashboard.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under CCPA, GDPR, or similar laws. Email privacy@pro-labor.com to exercise them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password and keep your credentials confidential.

Children

Pro Labor is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We'll notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
