Trust & Safety

Muscle you can verify.

Pro Labor is only useful if drivers trust the crew they hire and laborers trust the drivers they show up for. Here's every safeguard we build in.

Two-way reviews

Everyone reviews everyone

After every completed load, both driver and laborer leave a 1–5 star rating and a 150-character note. Reviews are moderated by AI for hate speech and harassment before they post.

Optional background checks

Verified-laborer badge

Laborers consent to and complete screening only through Checkr, paying Checkr directly. Clearance automatically earns a badge and unlocks loads requiring a passed check. Pro Labor stores status and dates, not screening reports. Military-base entry is subject to each installation’s requirements.

Automatic flagging

3 low ratings = removal

Any account receiving 3 or more reviews at 2 stars or lower is automatically flagged for permanent removal. No manual review needed — the standard is transparent to both sides.

Tiered contact reveal

Address & phone only after acceptance

Laborers see city, state, ZIP, and first name / last initial when browsing. Full pickup address and driver phone number unlock only after the driver accepts the applicant.

Response deadlines

Arrival and application deadlines

Drivers set a 2-hour arrival window and have 8 hours to decide on applications. Applications to a driver the laborer has marked as preferred stay open until that driver decides. Drivers confirm 'load is a go' 12–24 hours before pickup.

Direct pay

You control the money

Drivers can pay off-platform (cash, check, Comdata) or through Pro Labor with Stripe Connect. Tips pass through to the laborer in full.

Content moderation

AI review screening

Every review is checked by Gemini for slurs, threats, or targeted attacks before publishing. Violating content is blocked and the reporter is notified.

Aggregate data only

No PII on public pages

Our public stats show counts and averages, never individual names, contact info, or locations. Personal information is only shared between an accepted driver-laborer pair.

The 3-strike flagging rule

Three reviews at 2 stars or lower = automatic flagging for permanent removal.

This rule applies equally to drivers and laborers. Once flagged, an account can no longer post, apply, or transact on Pro Labor. We show this rule during signup and in our Terms so everyone knows the standard before they start.

Disputes are between you

Pro Labor does not arbitrate disputes.

When a dispute is filed we notify both parties and expect it to be resolved professionally between the driver and the laborer. We do not take sides, hold funds, refund payments, or claw back transfers on your behalf. In-app payments are final once processed.

Minimum-payment rule: if you pay through Pro Labor, you must process payment for at least the full agreed load amount. Underpaying the agreed rate through the app is a platform violation and grounds for removal.

Too many disputes on your account and you will be removed from the platform — permanently. Show up, do the work, pay the crew, and disputes never happen.

Reporting a problem

If a counterparty violates our Acceptable Use policy, no-shows a scheduled load, or acts unsafely — report it. We investigate every report and take action based on the evidence.

Email trust@pro-labor.com with the load ID, the other party's name, and what happened. For urgent safety issues, contact local emergency services first.
