Terms of Service

This page is maintained by Pro Labor Logistics. It reflects our current practices and is not a substitute for legal advice or an independent certification.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pro Labor platform operated by Pro Labor Logistics ("Pro Labor", "we", "us"). By creating an account, posting a load, applying to a load, or subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Pro Labor
You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. Drivers must be operating in the household goods moving industry. Laborers agree to perform services as independent contractors of the driver who accepts them for a load.
2. Account roles
Drivers post loads at no charge. During launch, new annual Light subscribers receive 3 months free (90 days), then are automatically billed $99.99 each year until canceled. Monthly Light is available at $9.99/month with a 7-day free trial. Premium costs $19.99/month with a 7-day free trial and renews monthly until canceled. Cancel before the free period ends to avoid the first charge. Premium laborers receive a 24-hour early-access window on new loads before they become visible to Light laborers. The referral free-month offer applies to monthly Light only and does not extend the annual launch offer.
3. Independent contractors
Pro Labor is a technology platform that connects household goods drivers with laborers. Pro Labor is not an employer of drivers or laborers, does not direct the manner of work, does not withhold taxes, and does not provide workers' compensation or benefits. Each party is responsible for its own tax reporting, insurance, and legal compliance.
4. Payments and fees
Drivers may pay laborers off-platform (cash, check, Comdata card) at their discretion. Drivers who choose to pay through Pro Labor pay a $5.00 flat platform fee plus an estimated card fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, shown as a line item before checkout. Tips are optional and pass through to the laborer in full. Subscription fees are billed by Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Reviews and content moderation
Reviews are limited to 150 characters and are automatically screened for hate speech and harassment. Pro Labor may remove reviews that violate our Acceptable Use policy. You retain ownership of the content you submit but grant Pro Labor a worldwide license to display it on the platform.
6. Automatic account flagging
Any account that receives three (3) or more reviews rated two (2) stars or lower is automatically flagged for permanent removal from the platform. This rule applies to both drivers and laborers. Flagged accounts lose the ability to post, apply, or transact.
7. Background checks
Background checks are optional for laborers and are performed only through Checkr after disclosure and consent. Laborers pay all fees charged by the provider directly. A passed background check displays as a badge on the laborer's profile and unlocks loads that require verified laborers. Pro Labor does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party reports; drivers are responsible for their own additional vetting. Pro Labor stores verification status and dates, not screening reports. Clearance does not guarantee access to military installations or eligibility for every restricted job; each site may impose additional requirements. Verification expires after 12 months, with reminders 30 and 7 days before expiry.
8. Arrival windows and application deadlines
Drivers set a 2-hour pickup arrival window when creating a load. Separately, drivers have 8 hours to accept or reject an application before it expires. Applications to a driver the laborer has marked as preferred stay open until that driver decides. This does not guarantee the load remains available. Drivers send "load is a go" confirmations 12–24 hours before the pickup window.
9. Cancellation and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings; access continues through the current billing period. Pro Labor may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use policy, or applicable law.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pro Labor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of drivers or laborers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid Pro Labor in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
